Yipee!friends FINALLY coming over.Jessica came first,followed by Iris.When they came,we made up our mind that we were going to do the project first,but that's what we always say.hehe.So,we went to my room,then we did a little of the project,read a few magazines together,then had the sudden urge to do nail polish.So,i took out my nail polish.Then remembered i had some instructions to do like pictures on the nails,COOL!So,we tried drawing pics on each others nails,FUN.Although the pictures didn't turn out so great,we still had tons of fun & that's what matters.After doing a little more of the project,we had lunch.But right after lunch we went right back to my room.i took out my make uo box,then we tried doing make up on eachother,we even used my mum's mascara,eye liner & eyelash curler.It was AWESOME,although,I think I plucked some eyelashes of Iris's eyes,cos it was my first time doing eyelash curler,so sorry iris!We managed to finish our project & have the "make friends prettier" experience......FUN.

what im thankful for.
im thankful for how hard my parents work.The hours they put in to check on how i am as my dad is in taiwan,so everyday he'll call us to check on us & see how we are doing.I am very thankful for the things I'm given,the oppurtunities,the privilleages,everything.I'm thankful for my mum,how much hard work she does to keep this family going,doing everything my brother & I need.I'm thankful for the way my parents brought me up,the qualities,teaching me the bad & good habbits,what to do & what not to do.I'm thankful for the education I'm given,to help me increase my knowledge,& the care given by my friends,teachers and most of all,family,when i need help,I get help.I'm thankful for everything. :)

holidays!
tuesday:
woke up 8.50 am,rushed to get ready,going with friends to vivo,without adults,ah boo ya!got ready,walked with my maid to pandan valley ,to meet my friends.Reached there,then met vivien & joey.Vivien's mm offered to bring us to vivo,so we accepted,duh.got to vivo at like just before 10,no shops were open except a few.we bought water then waited for the rest to come.when the rest came,we already decided what show to watch,where we were sitting...Basically,we planned what to do in the 1 hour we waited for the rest.When they FINALLY arrived,we quickly rushed into the cinema.We grabbed the 3-D glasses,yeah,u heard me rite!3-D!Although we looked nerdyy,we didnt care,we just enjoyed the movie,g-force.After coming out of the cinema,we couldn't decide where to eat,PLUS our stomachs were growling.We walked around like the ENTIRE vivo,trying to find a place to eat that we can all agree on.Walking pass burger king,we decided to eat there.Not long later,i was on the way home in joey's car,happy as can be.

NE show
First of all,going there was really fun,overall,i say it was a .......interesting experience.Going to school right after ballet & a lunch with my relatives,was a bit of a rush.But I got through it.
Waiting for the buses to arrive,I relaxed with my friends,we just walked around,waiting & waiting for a teacher to show up.
When we finally saw a teacher,we rushed back to the kidzone.We were asked to take our temperature & get our fun pack.& take our dinner(our cold,kfc,burger dinner,eww),so i brought my own dinner,nuggies!teeheehee!But sadly for my partner Jessica,her strap for her fun pack broke,cos her bag was too heavy(I wonder what junk was in there) & there were no more fun packs left ,poor Jessica....So,thank goodness for our chinese teacher ,who managed to tie a knot to make 2 ugly straps,into a knotted strap,which looked kinda fashionable.Then we headed towards the bus.ALL ABOARD THE BUS!My friends and I took up the entire back row of seats.Jessica(my partner) & I played tap tap (a game on my iphone),listened to music & welll,talked.When we reached there,we had to like,walka long journey to the stadium.The atmosphere felt like a desert,but we got through it by using a small electrical fan & an umbrella.When we finally got there,Iris & I kept saying "hi" to most army people we saw.Then we found our places at the stadium.After a while,Jessica & I got very bored.Then we saw a baloon person like making baloons for people.2 teachers sat infront of us,suddenly the baloon person gave 1 of the teachers a heart shaped baloon.she said it was from 1 of the students,which gave me an idea,to give a heart shaped baloon to MY fave teacher,Mrs Tay.Then when i gave it to her,we took pictures,it was fun!Then,i started taking pictures with everybody,cool!
Then.....the show began!First there were the parachute people.Kinda interesting,but a little boring.Then,there were some drumming people,like a marching band.which had colours of the differnet zones(the seats).There was even a little show which explained how sang nila utamah saw the lion.Then,there was like a fake crime scene thingy.there were like little speed boats on the river and stuff.Then it was kinda all dancing & music & like huge like puppet people of different races walking around.Then there were even some huge red balls that were rolled down to us,but i didnt get to touch it,boohoohoo!there were little fireworks.Just when it was about to finish,it rained!
When we all got to school,i could see everyone was soaking wet,drenched in rain water.When i saw my mum's car coming,i rushed into the car.Finding,my mum holding a nice hot cup of milk tea,waiting to be drunk by me.....yum...that was the day i will never forget.

First time on a plane myself...fun!
1st of June:
Bright & early in the morning,waking up with a big yawn,nervous thoughts fill my head.Yet I have a butterflies in my stomach feeling.....Will something go wrong?Or will it be a one in a lifetime experience?
Getting out of the car,I felt totally nervous.As I adjusted my backpack that lay on my shoulders,I entered the air port,a gust of cold wind blew in my face.I walked in confidently...My mum & I walked over to a business class check-in counter,I checked in as a UM(unaccompanied minor).A lady brought me in as I waved my goodbyes & blew air kisses to my mum.The lady brought me to the business class lounge.A different lady came up to me & said "would you like any drinks,food?or play the computer?".I said computer,then she brought me to a computer.Then had a final call with my dad from Taipei,then followed a different lady(you see how frustrating it is to be a UM,SO many different people)to the gate.I went through,went on the aeroplane & wow!If you saw it for yourself you would be ecstatic too!The business class seat.....big & comfy!Oh!& the cushions,2 of them.A lady came up to me,introducing herself,asking me if I would like a juice & what I wanted to eat later on....As soon as the seat belt sign was turned off,which meant we had taken off,I pressed a few buttons beside me,ended up with my footrest thingy to go up & the back of the seat to go into a diagonal line.I watched 3 and a half movies then we finally landed in my hometown,Melbourne.The air stewardess that introduced herself earlier,escorted me out of the plane,then an Australian lady escorted me to the luggage belt to collect my BRIGHT green luggage.Then we went to the pick-up point where my maternal uncle n grandparents picked me up.In Melbourne time was 3 hrs faster than Singapore time so it was kinda already night time there,around 8 plus ,I think.We went back to my grandparent's home,the house I missed so dearly as I was in Singapore,I lied on the carpet floor.Ready to look at Marcus's,I mean my uncle's video collection to choose a late night movie,boo yah!
a few days later......
4th June:
Wakey,wakey!Great breakfast!I had Maccers!(McDonalds).My uncle brought me rock climbing.....so uh-mazing!My uncle & I tried most of it....But gulped at the sight of this extremely big & tall rock climbing wall & when I say tall,I mean seriously tall!!!Just glimpsing at it made my legs shake in fear....
5th June:
Rise & shine!It's mini golf time!Uncle Marcus brought my grandma & I to Dingley village where the mini golf place is,we played outdoor mini golf.I chose a hot pink ball,Marcus chose a white ball,& grandma chose a dark green ball.Beginning started out a little boring.But at around the 8-10th hole,it started to get more interesting,there were little tunnels leading from 1 place to another we had to go upstairs then the tunnel led us downstairs.Some even had little sucker contraptions that sucked the ball up then you could see your own ball going down on a like mini roller coaster circling around your head.& at the end when you put your ball into the hole,a tunnel will bring the ball right to the basket where I first picked out the ball.
6th June:
Woke up early to pack my bag.......for a sleepover with my good friend Phoebe,I haven't seen her in ages!I couldn't wait to see & play with her again,she is a Singaporean,which was 1 of my first few friends when I came to Singapore.We played wii together with her 2 little brothers,Thaddeus & Caden.Then we had dinner,chicken rice,yum,yum!Then phoebe & I played pillow fight together!I won...hehehe,the next day Uncle Marcus picked me up then we went home....
7th June:
Getting ready for another play date,this time with my grandma's old friend & her daughter & son,her daughter,Nadia is a little older than me but we can still communicate with each other.& her son,Adam is the same age as my brother & the last time my brother came,Adam wanted to play with my brother everyday...Let me tell you,the feeling was mutual for my brother.We went rock climbing ...again,but it's fine cause I enjoy it,this time Nadia was like the belayer(dint know how to spell,the person that like carries the person that climbs.Adam & I climbed ,at points it was really hard...but we got through it by trying over & over & over again.After rock climbing for about 2 hrs,we went back to Nadia & Adam's home.Over there,we played wii sing it,but when I heard Adam singing,well,let's just say I thought it was his sister singing...
The following days were most likely shopping with my grandma,I LOVE the shops there,so fab! Although most of it were winter clothes as it was winter there.Some clothes.I forced my grandma to try on & she bought a few.....We shopped EVERYWHERE,myers,k-mart,best & less & last but not least target.Then it was packing time.......My grandma & I,well,mostly my grandma tried to stuff all the gifts & clothes into my luggage ,it was kind of funny to watch....Then I said ,my good byes as I flew back to Singapore...

world hunger
Although most of us get to eat as much as we want,spend money on stuff we don't need like toys,games & videos.Not many other people in other countries get to spend like us,in fact,some people don't even have enough money to buy food.
During 1 of my school assemblies,my form teacher showed us(my class) a video which shows what other countries children have to go through world hunger.Usually,if we can't finish our food,it just goes down the rubbish bin,but in the video it showed that a father took all the food that people couldn't finish from the trash bin & brought it to his village.Skinny children came running to him when he reached.Hands stretching out just to grab half-eaten drumsticks or scraps of food which is what we call trash.World hunger kills at least 1 child every few minutes.
We should be ecstatic that we have more privileges than many other people.

My FAVE place
Well,let me just say I can't say only 1 place,I have 3.
1.Australia,because it's my home town & my grandparents live there.Whenever I visit,I feel relaxed & without a fuss.Cause,there's no school there for me........yet.But,when I go back,my mum's put me in to go to PLC(Presbyterian ladies college).Quite big, sadly,all girls,still wears uniform,which means I can't wear my own clothes(sad).
2.The Gold Class Cinema in vivo,because I went there on the day I turned 11.There are big, cushiony, red seats that like can become flat,& in between 2 seats is a table where you can eat like dinner or lunch,it was relaxing & memorable.But,sadly,I do not have the chance to go there often....But,I"m going to get the chance again,cause I'm going there again this weekend,to watch star trek.WHOO!
3.Clothes & Shoes shop,because as a girl,I still have a girly part of me.& most girls LOVE clothes & shoes,just like me.I love just walking through shopping centres with my mum,browsing through every SINGLE shop....Just seeing if there's anything cute.My favourite clothes shops are Guess & Esprit,but for shoes I have none,I just go for cute slippers,that go with my clothes.
So that's about it.......bb for now!
